Welcome to Sunshine!

Sunshine Developmental School has been our home for over 10 years. We both began working here as a teacher and school psychologist in 2002 and were excited to grow into the position of leading such a wonderful organization.
 

As co-Directors of the school, we have the privilege of working with an amazing group of highly qualified professionals, including seven Doctoral level clinicians and more than 70 Masters level teachers and clinicians, and dozens of dedicated, warm, and smart staff. Our truly multi-cultural staff bring a rich array of talents including multilingualism, allowing us to offer services in English, Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and Bengali. (Additional languages spoken include Malayalam, Gujarati, Ibo, and Creole to name a few.)

Since 1986, the talented staff at Sunshine have seamlessly woven their clinical and educational talents to provide rich and stimulating opportunities for our children in their PLAY – the best medium for enhancing young children’s development. We offer a broad range of programs including general education programs, integrated classes, and special classes. The children light up our lives here. Seeing, aiding and celebrating their progress with families is the central focus of our mission and our greatest joy!
